September Holiday Newsletter

Dear Parents & Caregivers,

The school holidays are just around the corner and it will be important that your child continues to practise his/her English daily. A great way to do this is to have your child participate in activities that allows your child to speak English with other children. A ‘play date’ with an English speaking friend is always a good idea. Also, Parnell Trust runs a holiday programme right here at school. More information can be found on this website: www.parnell.org.nz/Parnell-Trust-Children-School-Holiday-Programmes-Intro.htm

There are a range of other holiday activities on offer throughout Auckland. Listed below are a few:

Don’t forget to also have your child keep up with their reading by accessing the Sunshine Online website - www.sunshineonline.com.au  Username: parnellesol        Password: room31

Please feel free to keep in touch with us regarding your child’s progress in English. Miss H’s email address is: annah@parnell.school.nz or Miss Hastings email is: sarahh@parnell.school.nz.

Sincerely,
Anna Hedstrom & Sarah Hastings
