Dear
Parents & Caregivers,
The
April school holidays are just around the corner and it will be important that
your child continues to practise his/her English daily. A great way to do this
is to have your child participate in activities that allows your child to speak
English with other children. A ‘play date’ with an English speaking friend is
always a good idea. Also, Parnell Trust runs a holiday programme right here at
school. More information can be found on this website: http://www.parnell.org.nz/CurrentHolidays.htm
There
are also a range of other holiday activities on offer throughout Auckland. More
information about dates, locations and cost can be found on their website: http://www.eventfinda.co.nz/children-kids-holidays/events/auckland
Some
include ‘Ports of Auckland Boat Tours’, adults $5, children free. Discover
‘Aladdins’ Cave’ at the Auckland Sky Tower or ‘We are Stars’ at the Stardome
Observatory & Planetarium.
Auckland Libraries
also have a range of different activities and all events are free of charge.
Below are the dates and times for Parnell Library only. http://www.aucklandlibraries.govt.nz/EN/Events/Events/Pages/aprilschoolholidayscentral2016.aspx
